3/9/2018 8 Comments Emily CarrThe embracing silence covers my ears as I imagine that I am the amazing Emily Carr. If I ever went to visit Emily Carr I I would have to tell her how amazed I am with her artwork, she uses so much detail. Also, a few things have been wandering around in my head, like why did she become an artist in the first place? Some of the things that she paints seem very detailed and I always wonder if she has seen it somewhere or just made it up. I wish I was as great at painting as Emily Carr was . I then suddenly snap back into reality and my ears are overwhelmed with horrid noise. I realize that Emily Carr never knew her paintings were that amazing. Still she should be very proud of all her hard work, because it all paid off.

I thought the supporting details were well written. Although, I'm a bit confused on the dreaming sequence of the paragraph. Emily was heavily influenced by the indigenous people and nature, so if YOU were a renowned artist, what would inspire you and your paintings?

This post is very detailed and I liked the part where you imagined you were Emily Carr (putting yourself in her shoes). That was creative. There are very few grammatical errors, but then again I was nit-picking so a lot of people might not have noticed them, such as using 2 "I"s. The post is slightly short for my standards but it was very fun to read nevertheless. One more thing is that I think the requirements was that you had to put down 3 reasons on why you would want to visit Emily Carr; I only see 1, but that might be just me. I'll also answer one of your questions; I'm pretty sure that Emily Carr did go out to sketch her paintings, so I think that her inspiration comes from real life things and that she doesn't just make things up. I wonder where you got the idea to put yourself in Emily Carr's shoes; to see what she was thinking of. I think you did a great job on this blog post.

I loved the way you started your paragraph with the perspective of Emily Carr and ended back to your life. Although i would suggest that add another sentence after the first one about your point of view, because i don't think she would imagine meeting herself. How would you feel if you did what you loved but weren't known for it until after your death.

When you're creative with art, I bet it's a master piece that you are proud of and happy with and something that can make you smile when you look at it. Becoming an artist is one of the common chooses there is in the world because its a world with imagination and creativity, it expresses that person's feeling's and thought. Do you ever imagine that you are in Emily Carr's world of art and could paint and have fun like she does by expressing her art?
